General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Atypique Voyages asks its clients to accept the general terms and conditions of sale below at the time of booking.

A/ BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

1 – Deposit payment
A 50% deposit of the trip price must be received by Atypique Lanka in order to confirm the booking. This deposit must be paid in one of the following ways:

• by bank transfer (transfer fees are payable by the client)
• by credit card via our online payment platform

2 – Payment of the balance
The balance of the trip must be paid 30 days before arrival.

3 – Last-minute confirmation
Any confirmation less than 30 days before arrival must be accompanied by payment of the full trip amount.

4 – Hotel bookings
A pre-booking will be made at the time of confirmation, but no hotel booking is guaranteed until the deposit is received.

B/ PRICE VARIATIONS

The price indicated in the quote attached as an appendix is fixed and non-revisable for any reasons other than:

• Cancellation of the trip by one or more people in the group, in which case the price will be revised based on the final number of people taking part in the trip.
• Increase in government taxes without prior notice. 
• Increase in the price of oil of more than 10%. 
• Exchange rate fluctuation of more than 10%. 
  These variations would affect reservations already confirmed.

C/ ITINERARY CHANGES AND CANCELLATION POLICY

1 – Itinerary change
Atypique Voyages may be obliged to modify an itinerary in the event of force majeure (weather conditions, etc.). We will do our utmost to minimize the consequences of these changes, but Atypique Lanka cannot be held responsible for these modifications.

2 – Cancellation conditions
Any cancellation must be notified to Atypique Lanka by email. The amount of the penalties will depend on the cancellation date:

SRI LANKA

• Cancellation more than 60 days before the arrival date: 15% of the trip price
• Cancellation between 60 and 31 days before the arrival date: 30% of the trip price
• Cancellation between 30 and 15 days before the arrival date: 50% of the trip price
• Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before the arrival date: 75% of the trip price
• Cancellation less than 8 days before the arrival date: 100% of the trip price

MALDIVES

• Cancellation more than 60 days before the arrival date: 15% of the trip price
• Cancellation between 60 and 41 days before the arrival date: 30% of the trip price
• Cancellation less than 41 days before the arrival date: 100% of the trip price

3 – Refund
The refund amount made by Atypique Lanka will be made by bank transfer within 21 days following the cancellation. International bank fees will be deducted from the total refund amount.

D/ NOTES

Warning: in order to be able to land on Sri Lankan soil, a passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date is required.
